Nextgen bulk mail and email blasts, and more. Mail merge evolved!

Based on the novel text advanced engine Text Flow this app offers both simplicity and truly advanced functionality for bulk mail generation and bulk email distribution.

Merge data with design document with placeholders to generate a document per data row with each placeholder replaced with data from the row.

With the Text Flow engine, the app offers advanced text layout with styles, headers, footers, multicolumns, materpages, xrefs, variables, tables and a lot more.

Placeholder types

You insert placeholder elements into the source design document to show where data should be inserted when design is merged with the data source. App offers not just textual placeholders but also images, QR-codes and barcodes.

Output

• One SVG+HTML (pdf-like) long paginated document for printing.
• Many SVG+HTML paginated documents, one per data row. Saved to a special disk folder. For printing or emailing.
• Many HTML (paperless, non-paginated) documents, one per data row, saved to a special disk folder, mainly use for emailing.

Bottom line, either you generate a long paginated document for all data rows (that yon then print) or you generate a bunch of documents (see Output Folder below), one per data row. You can later decide if you want to print the documents or use the built-in email cannon to do a email blast.

An Output Folder is created on your local hard drive when you generate one document for each data row. This folder is placed in your ROOT output folder, you only have to confirm write access to this folder once.

An output folder name always has the .bulkmailf extension, making them easier to locate.

You can of course access an output folder using the regular system ux, i.e file explorer, but the app also allows you to view it inside the app, from where you can start the email cannon or just view when you last sent out emails.

Integration

App is integrated with both Bjorn's Label Studio and Bjorn's Barcode Studio. With a click of a button you can send data from Bjorn's Bulk Mail'n'more to Label Studio to design and print labels and badges. Vice versa, you can send data from Bjorn's Label Studio to Bjorn's Bulk Mail'n'more with a single click or tap.

Email blasts (eblast)

To send an email blast for a generated set of documents:

• Make sure your data has one column for email and one column for name of recipient
• Use the Generate to disk... option, select the columns above
• Choose document type, paginated SVG or pageless HTML
• Click Generate - this will generate a unique document for each data row
• When finished use the button to view or email the generate files

The app is (when installed) integrated with the host file system, i.e. you can use the 'Open with' feature to launch the app for a selected file.

Extensions that can be opened are:

• .bulkmailt
• .txt

Note that you have to install the app to enable file system integration.
